Here is a brief introduction to an example application of a production line solution for the textile industry. The entire production line uses 12 PLCs, 20 DEVICENET modules, 60 frequency converters, 54 temperature display control points, 14 temperature display points, and a configuration system. Among them, there are 368 fault alarm points, 258 data points, and 142 control points. A three-layer network is adopted as a whole, with the top layer TCPIP (for monitoring), the middle layer DEVICENET (for data), and the lower layer PLCLINK (for data and control)。
