Photoelectric sensors are electronic instruments or devices used to detect and respond to fluctuations in characteristics such as quality, safety, and productivity. He can accurately determine the presence and location of components, fixtures, or tools, and can detect damage, wear, or breakage. It is widely used in industrial production. The main process of the oil pump assembly line is assembly, in which a large number of sensors are used as control means and methods. Below is a brief introduction to the specific application。


Photoelectric sensor identifies pump core barcode scanning pen


The pump core is the core component of the oil pump, and each pump core is printed with a barcode of the pump core model. In order to prevent misuse of pump cores with similar appearance and different performance in the production line, before assembling the pump core, the production equipment must automatically scan the barcode on the surface of the pump core to confirm that the correct pump core model is assembled on the production line, otherwise the machine will not proceed


When the barcode scanning pen equipped with a photoelectric sensor moves in the barcode area of the pump core, if it encounters a black line, the light from the LED will be washed by the black line, and the photosensitive transistor cannot receive the reflected light, presenting a high impedance and in a cut-off state. When encountering a white gap, the light emitted by the light emitting diode is reflected to the base electrode of the photosensitive diode, and the photosensitive transistor generates a photoelectric current to conduct. After the entire barcode has been scanned, a photosensitive transistor transforms the barcode into electrical pulse signals, which are amplified and shaped to form a pulse train, and then processed by a computer to complete the identification of the barcode information。

During oil pump production, there is a component that needs to be grooved. Installing a photodetector between the conveyor belts that flow to the next step after the grooving can 100% detect whether the components that need to be grooved in the previous process have completed the grooving, confirm whether the grooving process is effective, and whether the grooving is qualified. Rotating components, if light is detected, determine that the component is not slotted or that the slot is incomplete。



Photoelectric sensors maintain the safety of oil pump production


During the production of oil pumps, a series of operation processes, such as stamping, are prone to personal injury. In order to avoid personal injury caused by operator misactions, photosensitive alarms are installed in these processes. When there is no light, there is no voltage generated in the silicon photocell. At this time, the silicon photocell is equivalent to a resistor connected in series to the base circuit of the amplifier. When there is light, the silicon photocell generates a voltage that, together with the voltage on R2, is connected to the base of the VT1 tube, so VT1 is turned on, VT2, and VT3 are also turned on. Relay K operates, its electric shock is attracted, and the buzzer sounds an alarm. At the same time, the device stops working, effectively preventing the occurrence of safety accidents。
